Pay:

$13.50 - $22.55 per hour Job description: Will provide overall maintenance and landscaping for the exterior of the Yavapai Gaming Centerand the Yavapai Gaming Annex. Will become familiar with the Tribal/State Gaming Compact, National Indian Gaming Commission's (NIGC) Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), the Tribal Gaming Code, Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA), the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Title 31, and Departmental Internal Controls and Job Instructions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This job description does not constitute an employment agreement between the Tribe and the employee and is subject to change as the needs of the Tribe and requirements of the position change. The above duties and responsibilities are not an all-inclusive list but rather a general representation of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position. Will keep the Upper and Lower parking lots clean, neat and safe. Will keep the exterior of the Casino and Annex clean, neat and safe. Will provide area beautification by planting bushes, flowers, and trees. Will provide ice and snow removal when needed. Will sweep sidewalks as necessary. Will pick up trash around the whole area of parking lots and buildings. On occasion will work in conjunction with custodian and maintenance person to cover task when needed. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's Auto Insurance Carrier. Will perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED, or ability to obtain within 1 year of date of hire. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribe/Gaming's Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy during the course of employment. Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment with the Tribe/Gaming Agency in order to meet the Tribal State Compact and/or Tribal Gaming Ordinance. Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Must be knowledgeable of plants, weed control, and landscaping techniques. Must be able to operate landscaping equipment safely with proper safety gear. Must be knowledgeable in general exterior maintenance. Must be safety oriented at all times. Must have a commitment to provide excellent customer service. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must be able to lift, and periodically carry, up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work flexible hours.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Prefer three years experience in custodial, maintenance, or landscaping work. Full-time, benefited position, starting rate $13.50 - $22.55 per hour.
