A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

The Janitor performs a combination of cleaning duties to maintain both resident apartments and the public areas of the assisted living facility in a clean and orderly manner. Maintaining a clean building is the first step in keeping our residents healthy and promoting a high quality of life for the seniors that live with us. Pay Rate- $19.30 per hour This full-time position works a rotating schedule of 4 days on, 2 days off. Responsibilities Clean using a combination of vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, shampooing/steaming carpets, and dusting Tidy resident apartments Clean building offices and common areas Clean and service public restrooms Dust and polish walls and other surfaces Empty garbage, compost, and recycling to the appropriate dumpsters Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Fingerprint clearance from the

Physical ability to perform job duties including 100 pound push/pull and 50 pound lift/carry Basic computer skills Employment requirements include: Current
