A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Auburn Union School District serves the foothill community of Auburn, located 40 miles northeast of Sacramento on the western slope of the California High Sierra. AUSD educates approximately 1,500 students in preschool through eighth grade at three TK-8 schools (Auburn Elementary, Skyridge Elementary and E.V. Job Summary Job Summary We are looking for substitutes for Child Nutrition (kitchen), Campus Monitor, Paraprofessionals, Secretarial, Custodial and Facilities. The positions are under the supervision of the department manager overseeing the area that needs coverage. Hours vary from 8 hours a day to 2 hours depending on the job.
