Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitorial Supervisor for the first shift, where you'll lead and inspire a dedicated cleaning crew to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across our facilities. Duties Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff to ensure efficient completion of cleaning tasks across all areas of the facility Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor team performance to meet cleanliness and sanitation standards Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and quality expectations Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing needs, operational issues, and progress reports Skills Proven experience in custodial or industrial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of sanitation practices Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in janitorial or hospitality settings Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff toward high performance Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning operations and workplace safety standards Effective managerial communication skills for training, coaching, and resolving team issues Customer service orientation with a focus on maintaining positive interactions with facility users and management Ability to manage cleaning & sanitation operations efficiently while adhering to quality standards and deadlines This role is ideal for motivated leaders passionate about maintaining clean, safe environments while fostering teamwork.
