Your New Role... As a custodian, you will be part of the team helping to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of this incredible space. We are looking for candidates with the right experience to help preserve our studio lot and the many office buildings our employees sit in. This role will be working during our overnight shift: 6:00pm - 2:30am. Your Role Accountabilities... Keep building and property in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties throughout our studio backlot offices and buildings Sweep, mop, wax, or vacuum floors. Gather and empty trash. Scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities (private offices and public) Dust furniture, walls, and equipment. Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Physical exertion requiring standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting and maneuvering heavy weights up to 50+ lbs. Driving responsibilities may include driving golf carts between buildings to transport cleaning supplies, both within the studio lot and on public road to get to other company buildings off-lot. Possibility of weekends and/or holiday shifts. Qualifications & Experience... Prefer 1-2 years large commercial facilities (medical center, school campus, major hotel) janitorial experience. Must have a working knowledge of English. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions ( Material Safety Data Sheets "MSDS") Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules Valid CA Driver's License preferred (If you currently have an out-of-state license, make a record of your license number before you apply for an in-state license. We will need that out-of-state license number to check your driving history). A record of safe driving with at least 6 months of driving history and a valid CA driver's license. In compliance with local & state law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Burbank, CA. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees.
Pay Rate:
$21.63 per hour. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
