A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as an Evening Self-Storage Facility Attendant. In this role, you will maintain security and cleanliness at the facility after office hours, ensuring all customers vacate the premises by the end of access hours, while also handling cleaning duties in the office and around the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Security & Facility Monitoring:
Maintain a visible presence on the property after office hours to ensure all customers leave by the designated access time. Walk the premises to check for any maintenance needs, safety concerns, or security issues, and report concerns regarding tenant behavior, space use, or unusual activity to the office lead.
Cleaning & Custodial Duties:
Perform evening cleaning tasks in the office (vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms) as well as facility-wide cleaning, including trash pickup, sweeping, and tidying up after tenants to keep the property neat and professional.
Customer Interaction:
Greet customers in a polite and professional manner while ensuring smooth facility closing. Direct all customer questions or account concerns to the office staff during regular office hours. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer-facing, custodial, or security-related role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, secure environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable and punctual, with excellent time-management skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Must be available for evening shifts.
Schedule & Compensation:
