Full-time Description Good Earth Fairfax is seeking Full Time Parking Attendant/Custodial Maintenance Support staff member. We are looking for a versatile candidate to work as a Parking Attendant and Custodial/Maintenance Support Staff Member. As a Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for monitoring our store parking lot to maximize Good Earth customer access and minimize unauthorized parking, As a custodial staff member, you will keep the store clean and helps us maintain several waste streams for the betterment of the planet, including green waste and recycling. Our ideal candidate is a confident and tactful communicator, with a strong customer service background. This position is full time, mid shifts, with both weekend days required. Fluent English is required for this position. Responsibilities Monitor our retail parking lot to identify and resolve unauthorized parking Communicate with individuals who have parked without authorization in a direct but tactful and de-escalating manner what our parking rules are and direct them to where they can park. Alerting pedestrians to dangers (quite cars backing up etc. cars turning into parking lots- across sidewalk Provide warm and sincere customer service and engage in short positive interactions with customers Assist customers with loading of groceries into car Assist the Front End in retrieving carts Cleaning throughout the store Maintaining our five-stream waste and recycling program Cyclic cleaning projects Customer service as needed Support floor safety through managing spills Qualifications Solid proven experience in high volume customer service Basic computer skills Strong verbal English skills Must be confident and willing to appropriately and tactfully communicate with people violating our parking policies Fluent English required Ability to be on feet all day, both walking, standing and squatting frequently Ability to be outside in all types of weather for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to bend, reach above head, and to occasionally climb a ladder Benefits For our Full-Time Employees, we offer: Profit Share Bonuses Medical, dental and vision plans Paid Vacation and Sick Time 30% storewide discount, 50% discount on made to order Takeout food and drink 401k benefit with employer match
