Job Overview Consolidated Cleaning Solutions (CCS) is seeking a reliable On-Call Night Janitor to provide coverage at our Foster City locations when needed. This position will help cover employee absences, call-outs, special cleaning needs, and other scheduled or unexpected coverage. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors to ensure they are well-maintained. Handle commercial cleaning duties in various settings, including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Assist with custodial tasks in both residential and industrial environments as needed. Carry out facilities maintenance duties including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with clients and staff members. Requirements Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential. Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning settings is a plus. Knowledge of residential painting or porter experience can be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
