Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, windows, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation without risk. Operate various cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and custodial tools to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and ensuring facilities meet health regulations. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client or visitor inquiries professionally while maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with familiarity in commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, sanitation procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by understanding chemical handling safety procedures. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks involving prolonged standing or walking. Strong adherence to safety protocols to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues during all cleaning activities. Prior experience with facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across various settings.
