Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Hayward Gardens Post Acute Responsibilities Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, hallways, offices, and other designated areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility. Clean and disinfect high-touch areas and frequently used spaces. Maintain restrooms and ensure they remain clean, stocked, and sanitary. Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste according to facility procedures. Assist with maintaining a safe and orderly environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies. Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Follow all facility infection control, safety, and sanitation policies. Maintain professional and respectful interactions with residents and staff. Perform other housekeeping and environmental services duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous janitorial, housekeeping, environmental services, or healthcare facility experience preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift as required to perform job duties.
