This role plays an essential part in ensuring smooth daily operations by keeping kitchen equipment, work areas, and dishware clean, organized, and service-ready in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Reports To:
Facilities and Operations Manager Core Responsibilities Sweep and mop floors throughout shifts to maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Wash and sanitize cookware, utensils, dishes, and cutlery efficiently to ensure continuous kitchen operations. Respond quickly to spills and cleaning needs to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Remove garbage and maintain cleanliness of trash and recycling areas. Support overall restaurant cleanliness and basic building maintenance across kitchen and service spaces. Maintain organization and cleanliness standards in accordance with Department of Health and restaurant policies. Service & Guest Experience Support a smooth, efficient, and quiet service environment for both kitchen and dining room operations. Work collaboratively and professionally with culinary and front-of-house teams. Contribute to a positive team culture and maintain professionalism throughout all interactions. Uphold the restaurant's standards of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality at all times.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and self-motivation. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work cleanly and efficiently. Ability to work successfully within a team-oriented environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours), and to crouch, bend, and lift or move 25+ lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
