Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure spotless surfaces. Conduct detailed floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to restore floors to their optimal shine and durability. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals and floor care products safely and effectively, following all safety protocols. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools with precision. Manage heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment while adhering to manual handling safety standards. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, offices, and other designated spaces. Support environmental services initiatives by properly disposing of waste and using eco-friendly cleaning agents whenever possible. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or healthcare environments is preferred. Knowledge of floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, carpet cleaning, and floor refinishing techniques. Ability to handle chemical agents safely and responsibly while following all safety guidelines. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, extractors, and chemical dispensing systems. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or visitors.
