Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, gymnasiums, recreational rooms, bbq areas ,restrooms, offices , stairways, garages. trash rooms, walkways, pool areas, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as mops, brooms, microfiber clothes, paper towels, dust pan, Mop buckets, blade holder and squeegees. Handle chemical agents safely while applying sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or cleaning equipment. Maintain custodial standards by replenishing supplies, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness requirements. Execute industrial or commercial cleaning tasks, including window washing and floor care using specialized tools and techniques. Follow safety procedures diligently during chemical handling and manual handling activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Support facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or residential settings. Expertise in cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures to ensure safe use and storage of cleaning agents. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving objects with proper techniques. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff, residents, or visitors when necessary. Familiarity with industrial cleaning processes and facilities maintenance practices.
