A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

The Porter will report to the Community Manager. This is a non-exempt position with a Monday through Friday work schedule; some flexibility will be required to accommodate the occasional need to work overtime and weekends. We offer a competitive salary, depending on experience, starting at $22 to $23 per hour. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
JOB SUMMARY
The Porter is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep the property in order to enhance and maintain its curb appeal. The Porter will also assist the rest of the staff as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS
