Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Detailer/Porter and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and customer service! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of vehicles, ensuring each one leaves looking pristine and ready for the road. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every customer, while supporting the smooth operation of our service center. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive detailing, customer service, and vehicle maintenance. Duties Perform thorough car washes, including exterior cleaning, window tinting, and interior vacuuming to ensure vehicles are spotless. Conduct detailed buffing and polishing to restore vehicle paintwork and enhance shine. Assist with vehicle movement and parking as a porter to facilitate efficient workflow within the dealership or service area. Maintain cleanliness of the work environment by performing janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Support custodial responsibilities by ensuring all customer waiting areas, restrooms, and common spaces are tidy and welcoming. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries courteously and assisting with vehicle-related requests. Help with additional detailing tasks like cleaning wheels, tires, door jambs, and trunk areas to meet high standards of vehicle presentation. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; a strong work ethic is essential. Experience in car wash or automotive detailing is highly desirable; familiarity with buffing, polishing, and window tinting techniques is a plus. Customer service skills are important; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to assist with vehicle movement around the lot or service area.
