• Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire Seeking an experienced pharmacist with a solid background in long-term care (LTC) and multi-dose prescription filling to support a growing healthcare facility in Porter Ranch, CA.

This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic schedule to ensure comprehensive pharmacy coverage throughout the week.

Every other

Saturday:

10:00 AM

• 6:00 PM Every other

Sunday:

12:00 PM

• 4:00 PM When off weekends, availability needed: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 3:00 PM
• 7:00 PM When covering weekend shifts, help is required Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 PM
• 7:00

PM Responsibilities:

Dispense and verify prescriptions in compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring accuracy in dosage, strength, patient allergies, disease states, drug interactions, and formulary adherence Provide clinical and therapeutic recommendations to physicians, nurses, and patients as necessary Respond promptly to inquiries from client facilities and healthcare providers with professionalism Oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency and accuracy Assist with billing and documentation verification Sign for and verify medication and supply deliveries from wholesalers Organize, maintain, and audit controlled substance records with precision Verify and maintain Emergency Kits regarding product accuracy, expiration dates, and overall condition Support pharmacy safety standards and participate in inspections, surveys, and audits Utilize Pioneer Rx system for pharmacy operations Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Valid California pharmacist license in current good standing Experience with LTC and multi-dose prescription filling highly preferred Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams If you have a passion for patient care and pharmacy excellence in a supportive setting, this role offers a rewarding career path. to advance your professional journey in a direct hire position.
