Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to maintain floors and surfaces. Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and familiarity with various cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling and safe lifting practices. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards. Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.
