Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Janitor/Light Maintenance professional to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure our dealership remains clean, safe, and well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Your proactive approach to cleaning and light maintenance tasks will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all dealership areas. Handle custodial tasks with attention to detail to maintain a spotless environment. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums safely and effectively. Conduct light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and facility upkeep to support overall building maintenance. Handle chemical agents safely following proper procedures for sanitation and cleaning products. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks using safe lifting practices to move supplies or equipment as needed. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment while performing custodial and maintenance duties. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and sanitation standards. Ability to handle chemical agents safely in accordance with safety procedures. Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors. Experience with floor care including buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring types. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep.
