The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing as needed. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are well-kept. Handle industrial and commercial cleaning duties in accordance with safety protocols. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Support residential painting projects as required. Collaborate with team members to achieve cleanliness standards and respond to special cleaning requests. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.
