Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces during night shifts. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and sanitation tools to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures and protocols. Conduct floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine flooring surfaces. Manage heavy lifting tasks using proper safe lifting practices when moving furniture or cleaning supplies. Follow established safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any facility maintenance issues requiring attention. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with custodial equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other cleaning tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely and understand chemical handling safety procedures. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects while maintaining safe lifting practices. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and cleanliness. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance needs. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence and facilities maintenance best practices.
