In this pivotal role, you will lead a team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across manufacturing, food processing, and warehouse environments. Your leadership will ensure that all sanitation procedures comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Duties Lead and supervise a team of sanitation workers, assigning daily cleaning tasks and ensuring timely completion. Develop and implement sanitation schedules for industrial cleaning, food production areas, and warehouse spaces. Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met, addressing any deficiencies promptly. Operate cleaning equipment used in industrial cleaning processes. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations relevant to food processing and manufacturing environments. Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and the use of janitorial supplies. Maintain detailed records of sanitation activities, inspections, and compliance documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial work, custodial services, or industrial cleaning within manufacturing or food production settings. Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures specific to food processing or manufacturing environments. Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and heavy lifting tasks required for warehouse or industrial settings. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks and train team members efficiently. Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, and performing manual cleaning duties. Familiarity with safety protocols related to industrial cleaning, food safety standards, and OSHA regulations is preferred.
