In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that our spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive experience for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine flooring conditions. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, offices, hallways, and other designated spaces according to established standards. Assist with industrial cleaning projects and specialized custodial duties as needed to support facility operations. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment. Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Support minor residential painting or touch-up tasks when required to uphold the appearance of the facility. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and facilities maintenance practices. Experience with buffing machines, floor stripping, waxing, and other floor care equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
