Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Day Porter to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the commercial property. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that all spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive experience for clients. This position offers an engaging opportunity to showcase your custodial expertise while supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitation of common areas and workspaces Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and sanitation tasks following proper safety protocols and handling procedures Conduct custodial tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies or equipment with adherence to safe lifting practices Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs, upkeep, and routine maintenance tasks as needed Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all cleaning activities, including chemical handling safety procedures Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial setting Ability to handle chemical agents safely following established safety procedures Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in a safe manner Strong understanding of facilities maintenance and basic repair skills Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Familiarity with safety protocol adherence in cleaning operations and general workplace safety standards Join our team if you're passionate about creating clean, safe environments!
