Sanitation Technician - Second Shift (5:30pm-1:30am) Join our dynamic team at a leading salmon processing plant as a Second Shift Sanitation Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment. We value dedicated professionals who take pride in ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and facilities during the second shift. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Inspect equipment and work areas for cleanliness and proper sanitation, reporting any issues or concerns. Operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs. Adhere to all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment as required. Assist with other production support tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Prior experience in sanitation, cleaning, or production environment preferred. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in food processing facilities. Ability to work independently and efficiently during the second shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
