Overview Join our dynamic team as a Deck Refinishing and Pressure Washing Specialist, where your expertise will transform outdoor spaces into stunning, durable surfaces. Duties Operate pressure washing equipment to thoroughly clean decks, patios, fences, and other exterior surfaces, removing dirt, mold, algae, and old coatings. Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, or stripping old paint or stain to ensure optimal refinishing results. Apply stains, sealants, paints, or protective coatings with precision using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment such as airless paint sprayers. Use hand tools and power tools for surface repairs including caulking gaps, filling cracks, and minor carpentry work like trim carpentry or framing. Read blueprints or schematics when necessary to understand project scope and specific surface requirements. Assist with renovation projects involving stucco repair, plastering, masonry work, or restoration tasks to improve surface durability. Maintain safety standards on-site by handling equipment properly and adhering to OSHA guidelines. Requirements Proven experience with pressure washing techniques and deck refinishing processes. Familiarity with construction estimating and blueprint reading to assess project needs accurately. Knowledge of residential and commercial painting practices including airless spray painting and hand tool application. Skills in carpentry, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry, or concrete finishing are highly desirable. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; welding or industrial painting experience is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations; handyman experience is beneficial. Construction site experience with an understanding of schematics and renovation procedures. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
