Job Description
Job Overview Lepe's Foods is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented cleaner to help maintain cleanliness across our USDA-certified processing facility and warehouse. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping all areas in top sanitary condition and upholding the food safety and quality standards our customers have trusted for over 30 years. Along with sanitation, you'll work alongside our production team and help with packing and labeling when production needs the extra hands. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize USDA processing room, equipment, and workstations Maintain cleanliness throughout warehouse areas, including floors, storage spaces, and common areas Remove trash, debris, and maintain organized workspaces Assist with deep cleaning tasks as needed Ensure cleaning supplies and tools are properly used and stored Support the production team with packing, labeling, and boxing finished product during busy runs Apply product and date labels accurately according to USDA labeling requirements Help stage, palletize, and move finished product into the cooler and freezer Cross-train on basic production tasks to provide coverage when the team is short-handed Support team in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment Requirements Previous cleaning, food facility, or warehouse experience is a plus Strong work ethic and reliability Able to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in cold environments (refrigerated areas) Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation standards Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Willing to move between sanitation work and hands-on production support throughout the day Able to read and follow labels, date codes, and order sheets accurately Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required Join our team and play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility.
