Job Description

Hansel BMW is seeking a reliable and customer focused Full-Time Porter to join our team in [CITY]. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment and delivering outstanding service, we'd love to meet you! The Porter position is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the dealership by providing exceptional customer service, assisting with vehicle movement, and maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment. This role welcomes customers, directs them to the appropriate department, and provides general support to the Service Department and other dealership teams as needed. The Porter plays an important role in ensuring efficient operations and a positive experience for both customers and employees.
Pay Scale:
The Service Porter position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $18.31 and $20.00, depending on experience and skills. Responsibilities & Duties Assisting with Vehicle movement Welcome customers upon arrival Direct customers to the correct department Offer coffee and refreshments Answer basic customer questions Safely move vehicles around the dealership Assist staff and customers to ensure smooth daily operations Assist the Service Department as needed Provide exceptional customer service Follow all company safety policies; report accidents immediately to a supervisor Assist with other dealership needs as needed. Qualifications & Skills Excellent customer service skills are essential Pass a criminal background check Pass a drug screening Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move frequently throughout the dealership Ability to enter and exit vehicles Ability to work safety at heights and in varying weather and environmental conditions Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Driving Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy and insurer requirements Ability to operate safely vehicles.
