Position Overview Environmental Dynamics is seeking two dependable Swing Shift Janitors to join our janitorial team serving customer locations in Santa Rosa and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and professional facilities for our customers. We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and can work independently while following established cleaning schedules and customer requirements. Areas of Responsibility Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform routine janitorial and custodial services at assigned customer locations. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces. Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors according to established procedures. Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste. Dust and clean desks, furniture, fixtures, doors, glass, and other surfaces as assigned. Clean and restock restroom and break-room supplies. Follow site-specific cleaning schedules, work instructions, and customer requirements. Properly use and maintain company cleaning supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment. Follow company safety procedures and product-use instructions. Identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, property damage, supply shortages, or unusual conditions. Notify the supervisor of any work that cannot be completed during the scheduled shift. Maintain professional and respectful conduct while working at customer locations. Secure assigned areas and follow customer requirements regarding keys, alarms, access cards, and building security. Maintain regular and reliable attendance and report to assigned locations as scheduled. Perform other janitorial duties reasonably related to the position as assigned. Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required. Dependable and able to maintain regular attendance. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing assigned work. Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers. Ability to safely use cleaning products, supplies, and janitorial equipment after appropriate training. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work evening/swing-shift hours based on assigned customer schedules. Schedule Part-Time - Swing Shift / Evenings Work schedules are based on assigned customer locations and operational requirements. Applicants must be available to work during scheduled evening hours and maintain dependable attendance. Specific workdays, start times, and weekly hours will be discussed during the hiring process based on the available assignments. Compensation $18.50-$26.50 per hour Starting pay within the posted range will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant janitorial or custodial experience, qualifications, skills, assigned responsibilities, and demonstrated ability to perform the position.
