In this role, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, and related equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and enhance kitchen efficiency. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, filters, and fire suppression systems using industrial cleaning techniques and pressure washing equipment. Utilize hand tools and specialized cleaning equipment to remove grease buildup, debris, and other contaminants from hard-to-reach areas. Conduct ladder work safely when accessing elevated or hard-to-reach components of kitchen ventilation systems. Adhere strictly to safety protocols by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), handling chemicals safely, and using fire extinguishers when necessary. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of equipment and materials to ensure safe and efficient operations. Requirements Proven experience with ladder use, industrial cleaning, pressure washing, and the use of hand tools. Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures, duct cleaning techniques, and fire safety protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely. Familiarity with outdoor work environments and industrial cleaning equipment. Strong understanding of safety procedures including PPE usage and fire extinguisher operation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Prior experience in commercial kitchen cleaning or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is advantageous.
