Custodian Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facility. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, floor maintenance, trash removal, and general area clean-up. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchens and bathrooms to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all. Responsibilities Perform sweeping, mopping, and floor maintenance. Remove trash and ensure disposal areas are clean. Clean and maintain kitchens and bathrooms. General area clean-up and organization. Assist with facility setup and breakdown for meetings, events, and special projects. Maintain janitorial closets, storage areas, and equipment in a clean and organized condition. Perform seasonal and deep-cleaning activities as assigned. Support emergency cleanup efforts related to spills, weather events, or other facility needs. Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations. Essential Skills 3+ years of janitorial experience. Familiarity with chemicals used to clean and maintain flooring. Strong work ethic and a 'can do' attitude. Housekeeping, janitorial, and custodial skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Commercial cleaning experience. ITAR compliance. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
