We are World Service West, a cleaning company within Los Angeles. We are looking for Janitors/custodians, to carry out cleaning duties at customer location, located within the LAX Airport. Our office is open Monday - Friday, between the hours of 9AM and 4PM. Applications are done in-person at our office only. Schedules/Hours Position #1 | 10:00PM - 6:30AM; 8 Hours x 5 Days; 40 Hours/Week Responsibilities Clean designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) Trash pickup, sweeping, and trash removal Empty trash containers multiple times a shift Stock restrooms of supplies and inventory Floor Maintenance (shampoo, extraction, strip & wax, seal, finish, buff) Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Skills Proven working experience as a janitor Integrity and ability to work independently High school degree Requirements 10 Years of continuous employment without gaps of employment (explained below) Flexible schedule - able to work different shifts when required Able to lift more than 45 lbs continuously Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for extended periods of time Min. 1 year of prior professional cleaning experience. Proven experience in a fast paced worked environment.
