Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and energetic Property Porter to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our properties. Your efforts will ensure a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff while supporting the smooth operation of facilities through diligent custodial and maintenance tasks. Duties Be able to work Mon - Fri 7am - 3:30 pm Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across residential, commercial, or industrial properties using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle janitorial responsibilities such as trash removal, floor buffing, sanitation, and surface cleaning to uphold high standards of hygiene. Operate power washing and other cleaning machinery safely while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies or equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, lobbies, and exterior spaces to create an inviting environment. Support overall facilities maintenance by reporting repair needs or safety hazards promptly to management. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in a safe manner. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with tenants, visitors, and team members. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while performing maintenance or cleaning duties.
