Job Description

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be prompt with good attendance Reliable transportation Able to work with little supervision Detail-oriented with an emphasis on safety Prior work in the janitorial industry is preferred, but not necessary
Frequency:
Five days per week / Six hours (Monday through Friday) Starting at 6PM.

AREAS:
Entrance, Foyer, Waiting Area, Lobby, Stairwells, General Offices, Private Offices, Executive Area Offices & Assistants' Area, Conference Rooms, Copy Room, File Room, Restrooms, Breakroom, Hallway & DWS Showroom, Warehouse Offices & Locker Rooms Exclusions:
Warehouse & Security Per Visit:
1. Empty all wastebaskets and disposal cans. Replace liners as necessary. 2. Spot dust desks, chairs, files cabinets, counters and furniture; remove all cobwebs. 3. Dust windowsills, ledges, and inside of all door jams. 4. Papers and folders on desks are not to be moved. 5. Perform low dusting (chair rungs, structural and furniture ledges, door louvers, wood paneling and molding, etc.). 6. Dust all vinyl, plastic or leather covered chairs; wipe clean as needed. 7. All touch points - remove all fingerprints, dirt smudges, etc., from doors, frames, light switch plates, walls, cubicle & office partition glass. 8. Sweep all hard surface floors with treated dust mop. Damp mop to remove spills and water stains as required. 9. Vacuum all carpets and walk-off mats; spot clean carpets of all spillage/stains. 10. Arrange all furniture properly (except as otherwise directed). 11. Ensure upon completion of work that all doors are closed and locked (except as otherwise directed). 12. Relocate all trash/debris to designated refuse area.
Monthly:
1. Vacuum carpets completely, including around baseboards, panels, etc. Move all plastic carpet protectors and thoroughly vacuum under and around all desks and office furniture. 2. Dust or vacuum all air grills. 3. Dust exterior of light fixtures. 4. Ash urn service.
BREAKROOMS
(Per Visit): 1. Wipe clean cabinet fronts and appliances, leaving streak free. 2. Clean microwaves (inside and out). 3. Clean and sanitize all horizontal surfaces including counters and tables. 4. Clean and sanitize sinks. 5. Replenish paper towel dispensers and clean cabinet. 6. Empty all trash receptacles, clean and replace liners. 7. Clean wall behind trash cans as needed. 8. Sweep and mop tile floors. 9. Relocate all trash/debris to designated refuse area.
CONFERENCE ROOMS
(Per Visit): 1. Empty all wastebaskets and disposal cans. Replace liners as necessary. 2. Spot dust chairs, cabinets, counters and furniture; remove all cobwebs. 3. Dust telephones, windowsills, ledges, and inside of all door jams. 4. Perform low dusting (chair rungs, structural and furniture ledges, door louvers, wood paneling and molding, etc.). 5. Clean all touch points. Remove all fingerprints, dirt smudges, etc., from doors, frames, light switches, walls, and partition glass. 6. Vacuum all carpets, spot clean carpets of all spillage/stains. 7. Arrange all furniture properly (except as otherwise directed). 8. Ensure upon completion of work that all doors are closed and locked (except as otherwise directed). 9. Relocate all trash/debris to designated refuse area.
LOBBY & COMMON AREAS
(Per Visit): 1. Remove all cobwebs from main entrance, lobby, and hallways. 2. Entrance doors and remove marks from door frames. 3. Remove debris from building exterior entries. 4. Clean all thresholds. 5. Vacuum carpets; dust and damp mop any hard surface floors. 6. Relocate all trash/debris to designated refuse area. 7. Wipe clean one (1) exterior sink.
EXTERIOR SERVICES
1. Emptying of all exterior trash receptacles. Replace garbage liners (daily).
RESTROOMS
(Per Visit): 1. Empty and clean all waste containers and replace liners, as needed. 2. Restock all restrooms with supplies, including paper towels, toilet tissue, seat covers and hand soap (supplied by Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits). 3. Restock all sanitary napkin and tampon dispensers, as required (supplied by Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits). 4. Wash and polish all mirrors, dispensers, faucets, shelves, enameled surfaces, piping, toilet seat hinges, etc., and bright work. 5. Wash and sanitize all toilets, toilet seats (including underside), and urinals sinks, with non-scratch disinfectant cleaner. 6. Sinks, toilet bowls, and urinals are to be kept free of scale and stains. 7. Wipe down walls around urinals. 8. Empty and sanitize all sanitary napkin disposal units. 9. Spot mop all restroom floors with disinfectant germicidal solution. 10. Relocate all trash/debris to designated refuse area.
