Job Overview We are looking for a Janitorial Lead who speaks fluent Spanish and English to train and assist in the supervision of our cleaners, especially the Spanish speaking ones. The janitorial lead should know how to clean well and set a good example for the other janitors. The lead will assist the supervisor in ensuring high standards of cleaning across various commercial properties in Solano and Napa County. This role combines limited supervisory responsibilities with hands-on janitorial and deep cleaning duties, including training, covering janitors when they call in and helping the supervisor and operations manager oversee cleaning operations. If you enjoy helping lead a team and cleaning at night, this may be a good opportunity for you. Depending on your performance, hard work and willingness to learn, you may eventually be able to promote into a supervisor role. Responsibilities Help the supervisor lead and train custodial staff Act as a liaison between Spanish speaking employees and management to ensure daily janitorial operations run smoothly Perform regular inspections Lead, motivate, and train cleaning staff to deliver consistent quality service Deep Cleaning - Carpet Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Stripping and Waxing, Etc. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment Foster a positive team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and quality It is often necessary to use your personal vehicle for this job. The lead will be compensated for milage in these cases. Experience and Requirements Lead or Supervisory is Experience is a must Janitorial Experience Required Fluent in English and Spanish Experience with deep cleaning (carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing and window cleaning) preferred. We are looking for a dedicated lead, who isn't afraid to work long hours when needed and enjoys cleaning and working at night.
