Janitor - Senior Living Community Westminster Terrace Senior Living Westminster, California Tuesday-Saturday | $18.00-$20.00 per hour Westminster Terrace Senior Living is seeking a dependable Janitor to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our senior living community in Westminster, CA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, and understands how important a clean and well-maintained environment is for residents, visitors, and employees. Work Schedule Tuesday-Saturday Hourly Pay $18.00-$20.00 per hour , based on experience. Janitor Responsibilities Clean and maintain common areas throughout the senior living community Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces Clean restrooms and replenish supplies Empty trash and recycling containers Clean entrances, hallways, lounges, dining areas, offices, and other assigned spaces Wipe down high-touch surfaces and community fixtures Assist with cleaning spills and other housekeeping needs as they arise Maintain janitorial closets and cleaning supplies in an organized manner Report maintenance concerns or damaged equipment to the appropriate supervisor Follow established cleaning, sanitation, infection-control, and workplace procedures Assist with room or common-area preparation as assigned Work cooperatively with housekeeping, maintenance, dining, and community leadership Qualifications Janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, hotel, healthcare, assisted living, or senior living experience is helpful Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform the physical duties associated with routine janitorial work Respectful and professional when working around senior residents Ability to meet applicable employment and regulatory requirements We are looking for someone who understands that great janitorial work is about more than checking off a cleaning list.
