A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

  • Kleen-Tech, the leader in janitorial services, is seeking a janitor in Aurora, CO Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; however other duties may be assigned:
  • Follows assigned schedule
  • Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
  • Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
  • Dusts furniture and equipment
  • Polishes metalwork
  • Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
  • Washes windows, door panels, and sills
  • Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies
  • Transports small equipment or tools between departments
  • Sets up and tears down tables and chairs in auditorium, meeting rooms or hall
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space
  • Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk
  • Provides assistance to visitors with questions or directions when requested
  • May be required to assist in other facilities as needed
  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned as directed by the customer or supervisor, including but not limited to tasks outside of custodial work We offer paid training - No Experience Necessary!
Schedule:
Mon, Wed, Fri 5:30pm- 10:00pm
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must be willing to undergo E-verify , Background Check & Fingerprinting English required
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
