Duties Operate carpet cleaning machines, floor scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and other cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean and restore various flooring surfaces. Handle chemical agents safely, including floor cleaning chemicals and floor refinishing products, following all safety protocols. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment and furniture to facilitate thorough cleaning processes. Conduct floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance. Execute commercial cleaning tasks that include custodial duties like dusting, trash removal, and detailed surface cleaning. Apply environmentally friendly cleaning practices while using appropriate chemical agents to minimize ecological impact. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during service visits. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor buffing, waxing, and refinishing. Will consider right candidate with no experience Familiarity with cleaning equipment including carpet extractors, floor scrubbers, buffers, and related tools. Knowledge of handling floor cleaning chemicals safely and effectively in compliance with safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in commercial or environmental services settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Previous experience in environmental services or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
