A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Requirements:

Demonstrates sanitation and food safety practices consistently. Completes scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly. Maintains the appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively, including landscaping and snow removal. Follows company safety standards at all times and looks out for the safety of other team members and guests. Coordinates job duties around other opening team members to help ensure efficient preparation for opening. Maintains a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant. Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on duty.
