We are seeking a dedicated and energetic General Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that our spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall appearance and safety of our premises, creating a positive experience for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine. Conduct routine janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces. Operate floor care equipment such as buffers or polishers to maintain polished and safe flooring. Support facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team. Follow health and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed in commercial or residential settings. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning practices. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, or carpet cleaners safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
