Operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, polishers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools to achieve optimal results. Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, common areas, and workspaces by performing detailed cleaning tasks like dusting, trash removal, and surface disinfection. Manage custodial supplies inventory and ensure the proper storage and disposal of chemical agents used during cleaning processes. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility staff requests and ensuring their environment meets high standards of cleanliness. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with knowledge of environmental services standards. Skilled in floor care techniques including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and floor refinishing to restore surfaces' appearance and durability. Familiarity with the safe handling of chemical agents used for cleaning and floor maintenance. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, and floor scrubbers efficiently. Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks while maintaining safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail in performing cleaning tasks thoroughly and consistently.
