Position Overview Sanitation Lead is responsible for leading and directing the cleaning and sanitizing manufacturing rooms and equipment as deemed necessary. The Lead has an active and hands on role in all sanitizing processes.

Schedule :

Typically 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Some weekend coverage required, with weekday days off scheduled to balance weekend shifts. Essential Functions Clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact equipment with wash down hoses, brushes and scrapers Equipment examples: mixers, conveyors, tanks, containers, utensils, tables, ladders, packaging machines Clean and sanitize floors and drains Clean and sanitize production room walls, vents and fans Protect electrical parts by covering Use squeegees to move water to drains Use personal protective equipment (PPE) to fill chemical containers, mix cleaning chemicals and work in a wet environment Label secondary chemical containers Demonstrates strong working knowledge of General Manufacturing Practices Trains new employees Assigns tasks to team members Ensures all team members clock in and out to the appropriate areas Demonstrates a positive attitude with coworkers and supervisor, showing an openness and flexibility to complete tasks as requested Responsible for adhering to Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Fresca Foods Inc.
