A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Part-time We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our professional janitorial team. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces Restock supplies as needed Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures Ensure all assigned areas meet company quality standards Complete all cleaning duties listed on the site-specific checklist Maintain professional appearance and behavior while on client property Qualifications Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not required (training provided) Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Able to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for long periods Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites Must carry personal vehicle insurance (no company vehicles are provided) Compensation & Schedule Part-time, paid per job/account 6+ hours per week Starting pay equivalent to $16/hour, with opportunities for increases based on performance, including a pay increase at 90 days with consistent performance Flexible scheduling — most work is evenings and weekends Opportunities for additional hours and growth At least three professional references will be required.
