A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

As a Lead Custodian at Bullard-Havens Technical High School and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. In this leadership role, you will serve as a working supervisor, guiding and supporting a team of custodians while ensuring the school is maintained to the highest standards. This position offers the opportunity to coordinate daily operations, prioritize and assign work, train and mentor staff, assist with performance evaluations, and collaborate with school personnel and outside partners to support efficient facility operations.
