In this vital role, you will ensure that our work environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming by performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other floor care equipment to maintain pristine flooring surfaces Conduct sanitation procedures including trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and adherence to safety protocols Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Join us in creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment!
