3rd Shift Bus Cleaner

Dattco DATTCO has an opening for a Bus Cleaner at our New Britain, CT location. The work schedule is Thursday through Monday from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM. The scheduled days off are Tuesday and Wednesday. The schedule is subject to change depending on demand. DATTCO is a third generation, family-owned company and is the largest passenger transportation company in New England.

Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect and clean all luggage storage bays, overhead passenger storage areas, windows, and floors Empty trash receptacles and trash from interior of vehicle Brush and vacuum as needed Sanitize floors and fixtures Clean exterior of vehicle Fuels buses as needed Understand OSHA safety rules and promotes a safe work environment Ability to move and park different types of buses
Minimum Requirements:
Stamina to work a physical job that requires hard and detailed work in a fast paced environment. Valid CT driver's license. Reliable transportation to and from work. 18+ years old. Must be able to pass an in-yard driving test of all vehicles. Must be able to maneuver large vehicles including double decker's around facility. Operate fuel pump. Pass a Human Performance Examination (HPE), physical exam, background investigation and drug test prior to hire. May require overtime.

This is a safety sensitive position as determined by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and requires inclusion in a random drug testing pool which determines the usage of prohibited substances, including recreational marijuana.
