AM Sanitation Crew Member:
Summary:
The Sanitation Crew Member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the factory premises, including production areas, storage rooms, and common spaces. This position ensures all areas meet the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and organization. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:

General Sanitation:
Clean small wares and all white containers in designated areas. Sweeping and mopping floors across various rooms (e.g., production area, storage, sanitation room, bagging area, etc.). Cleaning floor drains and maintaining cleanliness around equipment, including feeders, sifters, and tumblers. Emptying and disposing of garbage throughout the facility. Refilling paper supplies and ensuring that gloves and other necessary materials are stocked. Wipe down all production equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and oil kettles. Assist in collecting and disposing of cardboard and trash, including taking garbage to dumpsters. •
Production Area Specific:
Clean and sanitize the compressor room, including walls, units, and floors. Regular cleaning of the bagging area, ensuring platforms, rails, stairs, and poles are wiped and cleaned. Ensuring that all work areas are free of debris and that trash is removed as needed. Assist production staff as needed with general cleaning tasks or light support duties. •
Special Cleaning Duties:
Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, and mirrors. Maintain cleanliness in break rooms and office areas, ensuring coffee pots, refrigerators, microwaves, and tables are cleaned regularly. Keep parking lots and e external grounds clean, removing trash and maintaining the area free from debris. Working conditions Loud, busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment The job requires you to be on your feet for up to 8 hrs The environment contains airborne oil and seasoning particles Clean down procedures include wet washing applications and use of cleaning chemicals Physical requirements Must be able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, reach overhead, and work on your feet.
