A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

What the job is really like: Professional residential cleaning is physically demanding work.
You will spend your shift:
Bending, reaching, kneeling, lifting, and moving continuously Scrubbing bathrooms, showers, kitchens, floors, and other household surfaces Working at an efficient and consistent pace Following a specific cleaning system Paying attention to details that others may overlook Working independently without someone constantly supervising you Entering different homes Receiving feedback, inspections, and coaching We do not expect new team members to know everything immediately. Basic requirements Applicants must:
Be able to work Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm Be legally authorized to work in the United States Have dependable transportation to travel throughout Kent County, DE Have a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance Be able to travel to clients' homes within the assigned service area Be able to perform physical cleaning work Be able to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies Have a working smartphone Communicate reliably with company leadership Pass all required background and employment screenings Be available during agreed-upon daytime hours Have a heart that desires to help others.
