Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic position involves performing a variety of cleaning and floor care tasks across commercial facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Execute specialized floor care procedures such as scrubbing, waxing, buffing, polishing, and refinishing floors to maintain their appearance and durability. Handle various cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely. Use appropriate chemical agents for cleaning tasks while adhering to safety protocols related to chemical handling and environmental services. Conduct manual handling of cleaning supplies and equipment, including heavy lifting when necessary for tasks like moving furniture or large cleaning machinery. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and safety inspections. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their environment exceeds expectations. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with floor cleaning chemicals, floor buffing machines, floor waxing techniques, and carpet cleaning methods is essential. Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of environmental safety standards related to chemical agents handling and waste disposal. Experience with floor refinishing or advanced floor care techniques is a plus. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
