Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) Position Summary The Sanitation Associate I is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment throughout the facility. This role supports daily sanitation operations by performing detailed cleaning tasks in refrigerated warehouse areas and other designated facility spaces while adhering to all company safety and sanitation standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform detailed cleaning of cooler areas and surrounding warehouse spaces. Sweep, scrub, and maintain floors using manual cleaning methods and floor-scrubbing equipment. Clean and sanitize trash cans, containers, and other facility equipment. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, walkways, and common spaces. Follow established sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines. Properly use cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies in accordance with company policies. Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns. Support additional sanitation and housekeeping duties as assigned. Equipment Used Floor scrubber Standard cleaning and sanitation tools and equipment Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment. Work Environment Cold warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 0 F to 56 F. Exposure to refrigerated storage areas and wet floor conditions. Fast-paced warehouse and distribution center setting. Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Safety boots Safety vest Qualifications Previous sanitation, janitorial, warehouse cleaning, or related experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow safety procedures and sanitation standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
