Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Porter Detailer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing inventory for sale and show which includes the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of vehicles, ensuring each one meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This paid position is offered for the right person who has honed your skills in vehicle cleaning, buffing, paint correction and presentation for sale. Responsibilities Perform exterior vehicle washing using appropriate cleaning equipment to ensure a spotless finish Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore vehicle shine and remove surface imperfections Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, windows, and dashboards with specialized tools and products Operate standard passenger cars and manual transmission vehicles safely on the lot Apply window tinting techniques when required, ensuring proper installation and quality standards Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the process, adhering to safe work practices and quality guidelines Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to equipment setup or moving vehicles as needed to support efficient workflow Requirements Prior experience in auto detailing is required Knowledge of vehicle exterior washing, buffing, and paint correction techniques using automotive buffers and polishing tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle cleaning equipment effectively Familiarity with safe work practices in an automotive environment, including proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment Customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members Experience with custodial or janitorial tasks is a plus, demonstrating attention to cleanliness and detail Valid drivers license with experience operating standard passenger cars; manual transmission experience is advantageous Training is not provided Join us as a Porter Detailer and become an integral part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional vehicles.
